The World UAV Federation Singapore strives to establish industry standards for the UAV sector, advance its growth, foster innovation in UAV technology and products, collaborate with the government to manage the sector and provide guidance, safeguard the legal rights and interests of members of the public and companies, and create an orderly marketplace.
Our team is comprised of effective communicators, collaborators, and problem-solvers, working seamlessly together to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft and systems. We understand the importance of delivering exceptional service to our customers, and are dedicated to going above and beyond to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
As the Singapore Chapter of the WUAVF, WUAVF-SC is committed to promoting and developing the drone industry and technology for commercial use as well as for hobbyists and enthusiasts.
WUAVF-SC shall leverage on the international communities of the WUAVF and aims to:
Work with Companies, NGOs and relevant government agencies to create a permissive and safe environment for the commercial applications of UAVs;
Raise public awareness and spur interests in UAVs; and be a platform for hobbyists and enthusiasts to grow their interests and be able to participate actively;
Promote educational and regulatory activities concerning UAVs and their commercial and scientific applications; provide UAV training and certifications; and host / organize UAV activities, events and visits; and
Provide a platform for Business-to-Business, Business-to-Customers, and Customers-to-Customers to co-operate & collaborate; as well as to match-make complementary UAV capabilities and resources locally and internationally.

Ian is a retired Brigadier General who served 31 years in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) as a fighter pilot and Chief of Staff - Air Staff. He has extensive knowledge of military affairs, large-scale project management, and fostering defense relations. He was part of the team that transformed RSAF to a flexible, integrated, full-spectrum force, and has a strong network within local and foreign defense industries. Currently, he runs a company that provides aviation and security training and services, and is involved in various projects, including starting a flight school in Thailand, a business start-up at Seletar Aerospace Park, and sales of Collins Aerospace's Visual Display Systems and Textron Aviation's UAV services.

Meet Preetwant, an accomplished individual deeply engaged in the aviation industry. With a vast experience spanning 30 years, he has established himself as a prominent figure within numerous flying schools, both domestically and internationally. Also, as a season commercial pilot, Preetwant's expertise is highly sought after. His contributions extend beyond piloting, as he actively leads training programs across multiple flying institutes. With a diverse background encompassing engineering and flying, Preetwants multifaceted knowledge and leadership have made him an invaluable asset in shaping the future of aviation training.

Raman is a retired fighter pilot and UAV pilot with 26 years of experience in the RSAF. He also served as the Operations Manager and Flying Instructor at SYFC for 30 years, where he wrote the first Operations Manual and made numerous improvements. With over 13,200 flying hours, including 10,500 instructional hours, Raman is also a CAAS Flight Examiner and has played a pivotal role in changing the CPL age limit law for Flying Instructors. His dedication to aviation education has inspired countless students to pursue their dreams in the skies. Now, as a mentor, he continues to shape the next generation of pilots with his wealth of knowledge and expertise.
